About Frankford Radio Club

The FRANKFORD RADIO CLUB originated in 1927 in the Frankford High School, in Philadelphia, PA.  The member area of the FRC is a circle centered in southeastern Pennsylvania and encompasses all or parts of nine states (PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, MA, CT, WV, VA).

Since the beginning, FRC members have pursued operating and technical excellence in pursuit of dominance in Amateur Radio contesting known as radiosport.

The  FRC has historically been at the top of the club competitions in the major DX contests.  Our members hold many individual contest records both in the U.S. and worldwide.
